DMBLGIT January 2009 - The Winners
I had so much fun hosting this month's Does My Blog Look Good in This event. Again I discovered many new blogs, I didn't know before. Thanks to the 84 participants for sending in their photos and Andrew for letting me host this month.
And of course a special thank to the wonderful judges Gabriele, Lorraine, Shari and Robert for their time and energy. I hope you had as much fun as I had browsing through the gallery and determining which one is the most drool worthy.
As always there are 6 winners. We - the judges - had to score three main categories: Edibility, Originality, Aesthetics. And then there are three more winners according to the highest score in all categories combined, the overall Winners.
Now let me reveal the winners of DMBLGIT January 2009:
Judges comments: I was immediately drawn to this, I wanted to know what they were! Wonderful, clean, clear photography. Classy composition.
Judges comments: Simple but elegant styling and the 4 flavours look perfectly balanced against each other.
Judges comments: Simple item beautifully styled, love the angle taken.
Judges comments: Very elegant, simple arrangement and styling, good lighting, not too overexposed. Very nice composition.
Judges comments: Beautiful clarity in the photography, I had a visceral reaction when seeing this. I love the colors in the photo. The clarity of the broth in the pot. The spoon is stunning. Altogether very nice.
Judges comments: I love the airiness of the paper and the way the light is falling on the cinnamon bun. The texture on the table is nice too!
Andrew also allows the host to give award to highlight picture that did not necessarily get the most points, but that the host personally loved.
I would like to give this award to
