Daring Bakers - The world's ugliest Macaroons
Only yesterday, after I finished the World Bread Day 2009 - Roundup with 264 amazing entries, I realized I had still to make the Daring Baker's challenge: Macaroons!
¡Qué horror! Of course there was no time to let age the egg whites for 3 days and no time to let them take room temperature as well. Perhaps that's why I produced the world's ugliest Macaroons? Where is the distinctive "foot" at the base of my macaroons gone? It doesn't worth to write down my proceeding. But in case you wonder: These should be Coconut Macaroons with Dark Chocolate Ganache Filling. I think, it's better you head over to the Daring Kitchen Headquarter to see the recipe as well the perfect Macaroons my fellow Daring Bakers made.
