A Heart for your Valentine - Invitation to participate

A heart for your Valentine On February 14th we celebrate Valentine's Day, a holiday honoring love and lovers.

In the spirit of the holiday, I suggest to romance the special person in our life not only with a love note but also with a homemade "edible heart". So I would like to invite you to treat your Valentine with something sweet or savory but always heart-shaped or heart-decorated. Give your fantasy full scope and surprise your beloved one with a special heart! Of course we would like to see what kind of heart you give away, so please blog about it from now until February 15.

How to participate:
Please read and follow the instructions below.
  • Make an "edible heart", take pictures (if possible) and blog about between now and Friday, February 15, 2008.
  • Please link back to this announcement in your post, and eventually to the roundup.
  • Send an email to heartforyourvalentine(at)gmail.com including

  • - your name
    - your blog's name and your blog's URL
    - the recipe name and the post's URL
    - your hometown/region and country
  • Last day of submission is Friday, February 15.
I will post the roundup daily respectively by incoming entries, so we will hopefully get a source of inspiration, for this and future Valentine's Days.
