BBD #01 - Bread with herbs - Roundup
breadbakingday - roundup Wow, 31 32 bread bakers from Australia, Canada, Europe, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Trinidad and USA made the first breadbakingday happen. Thank you all!

Theme of bbd #01 was bread with herbs. The participants used the following herbs: basil, chives, cilantro, dill, hyssop, mint, nettle, oregano, parsley, rosemary, sage, tarragon. Mixed herbs followed by rosemary were your favorites herbs, also swirl breads are "en vogue".

I'm sure you can't wait to see all the wonderful breads. I sorted the entries alphabetically by herb and then by blog name.

I recommend to visit all entries, it worths!

Basil

Franz from einfach köstlich spent recently some days in Italy, so he bakes two breads: one with basil - Pane toscani con pomodori - the other with oregano (link to recipe see below).
