Vegetable meme
honeybee from Beurre et pain invites me to participate in her vegtable meme. There was already quite a similar meme last year in German.
1. Is there a vegetable you hated as a child but came to love as you got older?
Leek. I remember my mother urged me to eat leek with bechamel. I found it so disusting. Today I like it very much.
2. Most underrated vegetable?
Hm, perhaps root vegetables.
3. Name one favourite summer vegetable dish
No doubt, grilled vegetables with Tahina-vinaigrette.
4. And one for winter?
All kind of stew, but normally I add some meat. :-(
5. What vegetables are in your fridge and freezer right now?
In the fridge: broccoli, carrots, leek, celery, green bell pepper
In the freezer: spinach, peas, green beans, pumpkin
6. Is there a vegetable you really like but don't make much yourself?
Brussels sprouts, but only because it's very hard to find here in Andalucia.
