Foodfreak invites us to share our top must-try recipes from 2006. Not an easy task for me, as I have always difficulties to choose.

So I scanned all recipes and selected the following as my favorites recipes for 2006. I'm not sure if these are really the very best, but for sure these recipes are all delicious.

• Barbarie Entenbrust mit Walnuss-Honig-Kruste

  

  Y. liked it so much, he gave me 4 stars for this really delicious recipe from Johann Lafer.

• Herbstlicher Eintopf aux marrons

  

  It needs to cook quite long, but at the end you have a very tasty stew.

• Toblerone-Kartoffel-Kuchen

  

  Surprise of the year. Yes, potatoes go with Toblerone.

• Casarce mit Zucchetti und Serrano

  

  This recipe belongs to the category quick and easy.

• Ensaimadas filled with Cabello de Angel

  

  A specialty from Mallorca. This recipe I tested for SHF #23.

• Feigen-Chutney

  

  A good method to preserve figs. First class, too.

• Foccacia pugliese

  

  It looks, and more important, tastes fantastic.

• Kaltes Grillgemüse mit Tahina-vinaigrette

  

  If you have some grilled vegetables left, make a salad with this special vinaigrette.

• Hamburger mit Füllung

  

  This year was a BBQ-year - very juicy hamburgers.

• Avocado mit Orangenfilets

  

  A surprising starter! Lecker!
